The Power in NOT Knowing Your Next Move

The Power in NOT Knowing Your Next Move

When you don’t know your next move in life, it can sometimes be frustrating.  It can even be scary when your hand is forced due to your current move being cut short.  This is a classic case of an opportunity to look at the glass half empty or the glass half full.

I found a fantastic quote that brought me comfort in my quest to look at the situation of not knowing my next move with the glass half full.  It’s from author Margaret Drabble:

When nothing is sure, everything is possible.

This quote left me feeling full of power the first time I read it.  I went from feeling lost in the wilderness to feeling like the master of my universe.  It reminded me that rest of my life is a blank canvas and I’m the artist with the power to draw anything I want.

I hope as you read this now you can take this opportunity to claim your power the way I did.  There is no better feeling than the moment when you seize control of your future.  It starts by changing your mindset from being a consumer to a creator.  When you’re a consumer, life happens to you.  When you’re a creator, you make life happen, and as Drabble said, everything is possible.
